How many libraries in each Dutch municipality?
When I was cycling around The Hague (or 's-Gravenhage as it's known in Dutch), I often stumbled across libraries of all sizes. One time I even photographed a tiny bitty library beside a river - bookworm heaven! The sheer number and size of these libraries amazed me, being used to the libraries in Indonesia. This intrigued me and so I decided to create a map to answer my curiosity.
The result? The Netherlands has plenty of libraries! The cities of The Hague and Amsterdam unsurprisingly have the most libraries - both are huge cities with a lot of students. However, other municipalities across the NL also have plenty of libraries. But does this correlate with something? I don't know, but I do know that NL has a lot of libraries!
