Watching People Succeed
One of the most disturbing mankind problems over social interaction is jealousy. It is widely known that people like to compare themselves to other people, either it’s positive or negative. On the negative side, people tend to be inferior or superior over others. Inferior ones like to compare their weakness or even their whole self with people’s achievements and confidence. On the opposite, superior ones like to compare their superiority upon people’s weakness. Those are lame, wrong action over our difference and path of life in this vast world. Yet, there is also some people who like to underestimate others’ success. They would see others’ success covetously, yet, they tend to say that the success is just a low achievement or such things. But I will not discuss a lot about the negative side.
Watching people succeed over a goal that we also chase is indeed hard and envious. We have not reached that yet, but someone manages to reach it with his own way. It is humane to have that kind of reaction. But it is our heart and brain that may process problems onto solutions which made us different from animals.
The best way that we could do over others’ success is first, to compliment him/her wholeheartedly and second, to comprehend about how they can achieve their goals and what they did that we did not did that made them more successful in this specific goal. And if we do not have the same goals as them, do not get envious about those achievements. Because we have different paths and choices in this life. If other people reach dreams quicker than you, that does not mean that they are more successful than you. They just quicker, or maybe they can work and learn more effectively than you do. But the thing that you should worry is that you do not endeavour upon your dreams and goals.
You should blame yourself if you do not try and work enough. Trying and trying and not surrendering no matter what is the most important side of life. Even for your crush. I’m sure 100% you will be someone’s boyfriend if you buy her flowers everyday in 4 years. If not, I’m still really sure that she falls in love inside. Just make yourself move and let the world determines your destiny.
Watching people succeed in life may make us happy if we act as their friends and pretending that their success are all about their endeavours before. To see achievements not from the result, instead, from the process, might give us wise point of view over people’s success. Let the world grow with those successful people and let’s see the world becomes better with their skills and knowledge. Erase your envy and hatred, then learn from their experiences. It will make ripple effect across national borders, and even change yourself into more successful human being, in your own way.
